Monique Harris, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) holds a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Social Work, focusing on the Non-Profit Sector and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She also holds several certifications for Youth Agency Administration, Model Approaches to Partnership and Parenting and Parent Resources for Information Development and Education. She has worked in multiple facets providing services to underserved and disadvantaged populations for over seventeen years.  Her experience encompasses working closely with children and family services where she has acted as a Foster Parent, Child and Family Advocate, and Community Liaison. Her experiences also included providing wraparound services, case management, community outreach, and mentoring.

In 2007 Monique Harris founded, Southern Nevada Children First (SNCF). Where she served as the Executive Director for almost 10 years. SNCF is a non-profit organization that addresses the needs of homeless, pregnant, and parenting youth throughout Southern Nevada. In 2017 she retired from SNCF and began a new career in the field of Behavior Health. Ms. Harris served a short term with Centene Corporation’s (AKA; Silver Summit/Ambetter Health Plan), as the Director of Behavioral Health, Case Management Department.

Monique is motivated by her faith and belief that the work she does is what God intended for her to do with her life. As a single mother of two children, she knows how difficult it can be to raise them on your own. With her education and God-given talents, she has been able to help homeless, pregnant, and parenting youth to enhance their lives. Now increasing her reach to assist the existence of the behavioral health community.
