Welcome to Fathers & Families Support Center

Celebrating over 20 years of improving the lives of children and families, FFSC empowers the uninvolved, non-custodial father to become a responsible, involved and financially supportive parent.

What We Do

The negative issues associated with “absentee, uninvolved or deadbeat fathers” resulting in female-headed, single parent homes (families) have been well-documented in the media and government publications. The negative consequences of this phenomenon creates economic, sociological and political problems (challenges) that significantly contribute to other social ills such as juvenile delinquency (criminal justice issues), substance abuse, and domestic violence. The Fatherhood Project (TFP) was established to reduce the number of absent fathers in Clark County, Nevada by supporting motivated fathers to reestablish and maintain healthy relationships with their children. More specifically, TFP proposes to provide a targeted group of fathers (those in Clark County who have a misdemeanor criminal record) with a wide range of educational, social and mental health resources that will empower them to be consistently present and positive influences as a parent while simultaneously fulfilling all of their obligations to the court.

Our Mission & Goals

The mission of The Fatherhood Project is to provide education, mentorship and resources that enable fathers to reunite with their children and maintain healthy relationships.

Assist in removing barriers that preclude fathers from becoming an integral part of their children’s development and maturity into adulthood.

Facilitate and expedite the process that allows previously uninvolved, but motivated, fathers to enter (reenter) their children’s lives, while fulfilling their parental responsibilities and obligations to the court.

Provide services that educate and promote healthy parenting skills among fathers who are motivated to develop and maintain positive and sustainable relationships with their children.
